This subject is divided into two parts. Analog electronics will deal mainly with the operational amplifier as a basic building block for linear amplifier circuits, differentiator and integrator circuits, voltage and current circuits, nonlinear signal processing circuits, signal generator and active filters. Digital electronics concentrates on computer interfacing techniques in science. Experiments are performed which illustrate the use of interface hardware and software.
