Available only to level 1 nursing science students.

This subject explores the concept of illness and examines the experience of hospitalisation on individuals. The skills of decision making and reflective practice are again emphasised, with students being given the opportunity to analyse and interpret data in the preparation of nursing care plans. Students will continue to utilise a problem solving process introduced in Foundations of Nursing 1 and will apply this within the clinical setting.
