This subject builds upon the theory and practices introduced to date with a focus on finding a personal approach for integrating image with text for visual communication. A combination of contemporary digital processes and historical approaches, devices and techniques will be examined with the aim of revitalising traditional processes involved with book arts with fresh ways for projecting meaning. These explorations will be addressed by lectures, critiques, demonstrations of techniques, practical workshops and set projects.
