As individuals, and in collaborative teams, students will devise or respond to a variety of studio based projects intended to test and refine image capture, manipulation and expression using a blend of light sources. The essential goal being, to ensure that all students "read" and apply light in a manner consistent with the formal requirements of the studio artist and practitioner using a variety of light sources and digital camera formats.

Learning Outcomes

• established awareness of the role of light in creating photographic form in the studio;
• established ability to use a variety of light sources and digital camera formats to professional level;
• established ability to implement digital imaging strategies from concept, to studio execution, through to completion;
• established experience of working in teams to produce a collective result.
