Available to any experienced medical practitioner currently working in a rural or remote location.
This subject allows rural medical practitioners to select a research topic of relevance to their practice, to critically review the literature, to collect and analyse relevant data and to present their findings in an academic format. Ideally, the topic will reflect an aspect of clinical rural and remote practice.
Learning Outcomes
- prepare a review of the scientific literature on a chosen topic;
- demonstrate the ability to design and execute a research project, include data analysis and writing of a dissertation.

- The ability to select and organise information and to communicate it accurately, cogently, coherently, creatively and ethically.
