This subject considers the interaction between government and businesses in an increasingly globalised setting. The analytical tools taught in the subject are particularly important to managers striving to understand the implications for their businesses of changes in national and international economic environments.
Learning Outcomes
- understand microeconomic and macroeconomic tools for examining national and international environments;
- understand the impact of changes in government policies on domestic economic environments;
- understand contemporary international trade and foreign investment issues;
- understand trade-offs involved in increased economic integration.
