In this subject students learn how to prepare feature articles suitable for publication and how to evaluate a target audience. The student develops higher level skills of research and analysis dealing with a diverse range of opinions, anecdotes, other published material, statistical research, and where appropriate the reporter's own impressions, on the way to creating informative and entertaining feature articles. Students are exposed to feature stories by writers with national and international reputations.
