Students produce regular print stories for submission to several publication outlets. They hone newswriting skills learned in first year and refine professional practice skills such as writing to a deadline, writing for a particular publication, writing in an engaging way, focusing on accuracy, and interviewing effectively. JN2021 provides an opportunity to begin building a portfolio of work.
