This subject continues building advanced level communicative skills across the four macro-skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, through the study of authentic Japanese material, such as films, TV dramas, fictional and non-fictional prose.
Learning Outcomes
- to equip students with the skills necessary to comprehend to a fair degree of detail the content of films, TV dramas, short stories, newspaper and magazine articles; summarise such, both in speech and in writing; satisfy routine requirements of everyday social situations.
