Available to undergraduate students who are eligible to take a level 2 subject.

This subject will examine cultural diversity in the workplace by exploring definitions of culture and the workplace through an investigation of historical, contemporary and 'future' contexts in both local and global scenarios. Discussion will focus on a number of relevant concepts including: cultural communication, cultural competence, cultural intelligence and cultural capital. These will be considered in relation to case studies of cultural diversity in the workplace. Delivery includes on-line learning such as discussion board activities. In order to complete this subject students must have access to the World Wide Web. Students who do not have access to email should notify the Subject Co-ordinator.
