<p>Available to Postgraduate Certificate of Education, Bachelor of Education (Professional Development), Master of Education students.</p>
<p>The subject focuses on the shaping of curriculum within schools and school systems. Teachers, principals and curriculum coordinators will examine their roles in curriculum construction, implementation and review through a study of relevant literature, education system requirements and their own professional practices. Various conceptualisations of curriculum will be explored alongside practices associated with its implementation and review such as teachers as co-constructors of curriculum, curriculum reform implementation, the role of assessment in curriculum, and stakeholders of curriculum.</p>
