Available to Information Technology undergraduate students. It is highly recommended that students take CP3047 in the last teaching period or trimester of study
This subject focuses on applying various approaches and professional best practice for IT project management and delivery following on from the project prototype developed in CP3046. This involves project implementation, quality assurance, user acceptance and testing, and project deployment. The project will be developed in teams to provide team management and interpersonal communication skills in a professional context.
Learning Outcomes
- develop knowledge of a specific industry standard for project management and the ability to apply appropriate tools and technologies to meet project requirements;
- develop the ability to deal with IT clients in a professional and ethical manner;
- develop the ability to critically reflect on progress to tailor self learning goals to advance professional development;
- choose and apply the appropriate tools and methods for implementation, quality assurance, testing, and deployment;
- communicate technical information clearly through presentations, demonstrations and documentation.
