Introduction to fundamental and practical concepts in computer graphics including interactive graphics, visual realism, graphics hardware, scene rendering, graphics primitives, geometric transformations, visible surface determination, illumination and shading, colour specification, viewing in 3D, modelling and animation.
Learning Outcomes
- be capable of modelling and animating 3D objects;
- be capable of using graphics libraries in programming;
- understand 2D and 3D graphics systems;
- understand the rendering and viewing techniques of 3D objects.
