This subject provides knowledge of modern information systems. The emphasis is on the concept of business information systems, the interactive relationships between the information systems and organisations, both technically and socially, and the business opportunities and challenges brought about by the BIS.
Learning Outcomes
- knowledge of the process and approaches of information system developing and implementing;
- ability to apply the relevant theories into case analyses;
- development of an understanding of the key concepts of the information systems and their strategic roles in modern business running.
