This subject is the literature research project in the Master of Astronomy degree. Students will become familiar with the primary astronomical literature (Journals, books and other archives) much of which is abstracted and available on-line on the Internet. Topics may be in the areas of observational astronomy, astrophysics, astronomy education or the quantitative history of astronomy. This is to prepare students for their own original research project.
