This subject will provide students with the opportunity to experience the various roles of exercise physiologists in the treatment and care of individuals with neurological/neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, and will provide exposure to the roles of other team members in rehabilitation processes, referral and communication pathways and medical record systems. Students will have opportunities to observe and work with health professionals during the design, implementation and evaluation phases of clinical exercise programs, and to learn about equipment, facilities and program planning used in clinical exercise physiology.
