This subject instructs students to explore meaning in selected cinematic texts through a detailed examination of mise-en-scene movement and placement of actors, setting lighting and costume cinematography and videography including camera angle, camera distance, camera-movement and special effects. Students will work with a range of television and film scripts and a camera man to hone performance skills and present a self devised performance event for camera that is coherent and multi-layered as a visual text.
Learning Outcomes
