Students will be introduced to issues related to the management of digital workflows for professional practice. Concepts linked to colour, colour space, use of ICC profiles and calibration of systems will support personal image making where colour management principles and practices will be sustained with critical studies of contemporary practitioners so as to examine representation, interpretation and approaches for creative expression via new media. Digital image asset management (storage, archiving and retrieval) will also be investigated.

- ability to effectively manage large quantities of digital resources for easy classification, storage and retrieval.
