An introduction to Digital Media Arts production. This subject provides a focus on skills, knowledge and theory for the development of intermediary Digital Media Arts applications. Students will be introduced to the essential software and hardware tools and gain an understanding of how core skills in Digital Media Art can extend into other forms of expression and genres of creative practice. Through encountering stimulation and innovative contemporary Digital Media Art practices students will become familiar with the scope of possibilities within the sector. The subject will combine work on the conceptual, aesthetic and technical elements underlaying Digital Media Art production, through lectures and practical sessions.
