This subject builds on the introductory theory and practice of mediation presented in the subject LB5501 Mediation. It draws on the expertise of experienced mediators. It concentrates on the micro-skills of mediation at an advanced level. It is an intensive practical course designed to provide an in-depth understanding of skills, strategies and techniques used by experienced mediators.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrated skills in mediation practice;
- demonstrated skills in a range of mediation models;
- demonstrated awareness of, and ability to resolve, ethical and professional practice issues which arise in the conduct of mediation.
