Testate succession wills, testamentary capacity, personal representatives, executors, grants of probate, administration of assets, legacies, payment of debts.Intestate succession - the rules applicable to total and partial intestacy; grants of letters of administration.Testators family maintenance - claims of family and dependants to support from the estate of the deceased and the power of the court to vary a will.
Learning Outcomes
- to introduce students to the law of succession, the problems associated with the branch of the law and proposals for reform.
