This subject is designed to foster collaborative learning amongst educators in schools and other educational settings. It provides an opportunity for teachers and administrators to examine school-based research findings on adult workplace learning, critical reflection and a range of specific strategies for promoting collaborative learning. The subject explores a range of formal and informal ways of enhancing collaborative learning and invites students to reflect on the learning practices in their own workplaces with a view to improving them.
Learning Outcomes
- investigate and critically review the literature on collaborative workplace learning;
- propose well considered action plan to improve collaborative learning proactices in a workplace setting;
- critique the current collaborative learning practices in a workplace setting.
