Students will be guided through discussion, interaction, readings, critical reflection, written and practical tasks, to begin to formulate their own philosophy of ART education and to gain insights into media, techniques and classroom management ideas suitable for middle schooling and junior secondary contexts. It is expected that students enrolling in this teacher education subject have already developed/are currently developing expertise in making a range of 2D and 3D visual art forms. This will be complemented by ED3194 lectures and practical workshops which focus specifically on classroom appropriate media and techniques.
