Learning Outcomes
- develop the ability to work both individually and as part of a team in the analysis and design aspects of hydraulic and coastal engineering problems with special emphasis on tropical conditions;
- develop the usual simplifications and assumptions used for analysis of hydraulics and coastal engineering design;
- introduce the basic concepts of surface waves and coastal engineering;
- review basic concepts of hydraulics.
