This subject covers material of direct relevance to the Business Strategy and Leadership segment of the CPA Professional Program. The subject provides candidates with a detailed understanding of the basic concepts and principles that underlies the practices of strategy and leadership within an accounting framework. Specific areas covered include: characteristics of outstanding leaders; developing and operationalising strategic plans; monitoring performance against strategic plans. Students will require to have completed all 12 subjects of the Master of Professional Accounting degree to be eligible to enrol in this subject, unless otherwise permitted by the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
