Completion of at least one lower level marketing subject is highly desirable, but not compulsory.
This subject broadens student understanding of marketing related factors pertinent to developing competitive international marketing entry strategies. International marketing principles are applied to product, service and country specific situations. Many of the necessary additional marketing skills and contingencies required to strategically move into a foreign country are developed, and applied, sometimes by engaging project-style approaches.
Learning Outcomes
- develop a critical understanding of international marketing and of strategic market entry processes;
- build the strategic and country profiling toolkits appropriate for use in international marketing;
- apply key competitive international marketing dimensions to practical business and foreign market entry situations.
