This subject is the start of the research project/thesis in the Master of Astronomy degree. This is an original research project and is the second of the two research subjects in the Masters program. Topics will be in observational astronomy and astrophysics, astronomy education or quantitative astronomy history. It is expected that students will use primary research data and that the presented material will be in a form suited for their thesis and/or publication.
