Enrolment in this subject is restricted to all students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy IHCAP and the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Honours Programs.

This block subject will synthesise issues of patient care from previous clinical subjects, providing an overview of the physiotherapy management of chronic diseases. The subject will be held over a two week intensive learning period prior to students' first clinical placements. A variety of chronic conditions will be explored including neurological, congenital, respiratory and musculoskeletal examples. Students will be required to draw on previous learning and investigate new material to develop comprehensive, holistic management plans. Problem-based learning and peer tutoring will be a feature of the subject, further developing team-work and case presentation skills.
