This subject builds onto the previous Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice subject (NS5903). Students will undertake further clinical practice under the supervision of academic and clinical mentors within a selected clinical setting in order to enhance and refine their knowledge and skills of nurse practitioner practice.

    Assessment:assignments (25%); nurse practitioner portfolio: students will be required to demonstrate that their portfolio has been regularly updated since the completion of ns5903 nurse practitioner clinical practice 1. the portfolio is a requirement for endorsement as a nurse practitioner by the queensland nursing council. the student will continue to provide actual evidence gathered from clinical activities (50%); written summative evaluation of clinical practice by clinical mentor against anmc nurse practitioner competency standrads (25%).
