This subject will examine the complexity of chronic illness or disability, rehabilitation and palliative care. It will focus on the development of a holistic approach to nursing care to assist the novice nurse to provide safe and compassionate care to those who endure chronic illness or disability, require rehabilitation, or need palliative care.
