Clinical placement offers students opportunities for supervised learning. The focus of the clinical placement is the application of knowledge and skills gained throughout the three years of this course. All placements will be held in acute care settings. The student will work in a preceptored relationship with an experienced registered nurse for the six-week duration of the clinical placement.
Learning Outcomes
- consolidate theory and practice skills and attitudes necessary to practice as a registered nurse;
- undertake the role of a novice registered nurse within the students chosen area of practice.
