This subject gives both a theoretical and practical insight into employee relations, with a strong emphasis on the processes of negotiation. There is a focus on: (1) Distributive bargaining, and (2) Integrative bargaining. Students will participate in a number of negotiation scenarios during the subject. There is also a specific inquiry into: (1) Ethics in negotiation, and (2) Negotiating in a global context.
