Students enrolling in this subject must consult with the subject co-ordinator, who will be responsible for organising a suitable placement.
Students work in an industry placement for a specified period, undertaking professional activities as assigned to them by their placement supervisor. The placement supervisor will provide a written assessment of the student's performance. Students provide a written report on their observations and analysis at the end of the internship.

- to develop a portfolio of published, broadcast or public relations material;
- to develop skills to industry standards and to learn the demands and pressures of the work environment.
