This subject views school curricula as an integrated dynamic based on the four core elements of literacy, numeracy, futures orientation and life skills. The Key Learning Areas of the national curriculum that provide critical focus for study in this subject are English, the Arts and Studies of Society and Environment. Students will develop their own theoretical and practical concepts and skills in planning integrated curriculum with reference to current initiatives in curriculum theories and development.
