This subject views curricula as an integrated dynamic based on the four-core curriculum elements of literacy, numeracy, futures orientation and life skills. The Key Learning Areas of the national curriculum that provide a critical focus for study in this subject are Mathematics, Science, Technology and Health and Physical Education. Students will develop their own theoretical and practical concepts and skills in planning curriculum activities with reference to current curriculum perspectives.
