An introduction to marine sedimentary environments with emphasis on the sedimentary processes operating around coral reefs and tropical continental shelves.
Learning Outcomes
- likely responses of reef and sediment packages to changing sea level;
- the factors that control the distribution of reefs, beaches cays and swamps on tropical shelves;
- the physical processes that control the sedimentology of marine environments.
