Available to students enrolled in BInfTech(Hons), BSc(Hons) (Computer Science), MInfTech (Research), MInfTech (Research and Development), MSc by Research, Doctor of Philosophy.

Students undertake a literature review of a nominated area of research and develop a research project proposal, on topics specified by SIT staff. Students are taught how to critically analyse papers for relevance and significance and to identify potential research projects. They do a presentation and seminar on their literature review and on their research proposal and submit written reports on both.
