This subject addresses advanced concepts in business modelling to enhance decision making in organisational contexts. Students will be required to develop further the knowledge and skills gained in the subject, BU2006 (Business Modelling). Topics will include development of advanced software-based business models and the interpretation and evaluation of model results both from a user and a builder's point of view. Excel will be the primary application software used to build these decision models. The focus will be on solving advanced decision problems requiring prior knowledge of the fundamentals for accounting and finance.
