Students will continue to explore printmaking as an area of specialisation within the visual arts. Emphasis will be on the exploration of one printing process, the consolidation of skills, technical development and expression of a personal vision. Students will gain experience in research and experimentation, the development of ideas and their synthesis and translation into creative outcomes. Students will be taught to apply professional standards of presentation in relation to the visual arts

    Special Assessment Requirements:In order to establish the authenticity of work submitted for assessment, attendance at practical classes is compulsory. Rolls are kept and work submitted by students with an attendance of less than 80% will not be eligible for assessment unless prior approval has been obtained in writing from the lecturer.
