This subject follows on from TV1101:03 Veterinary Professional Life - 1, with the aim of providing knowledge and understanding of: the diversity of career opportunities available to veterinarians; the livestock and other animal industries including aquaculture; animal handling; animal behaviour and welfare. Included in this subject is a block of 12 lectures and 3 practical classes in chemistry, aimed at introducing students to concepts they will require in subsequent years of the integrated veterinary science curriculum.
