Through undertaking a research project based on an industry placement, students will be able to analyse protocols, standards and new technologies currently employed by professionals within the given field.

- Develop an understanding of new technologies employed in the particular sector;
- Develop interpersonal skills through adapting to work within a professional hierarchical structure;
- Be able to analyse differences between tertiary and industry practices;
- Further develop particular skills required within the given sector.
