Students will undertake module(s) with developed acting skills demonstrating vocal stamina and physical fitness required for theatre in professional practice.
Learning Outcomes
- models for learning which mirror professional practice in order that students may prepare either for entry into the profession or for further study in the discipline;
- developed heightened skills of risk taking, creativity and playing style informing characterisation during the rehearsal process for public performance;
- extended skills in movement and voice to enhance the actor's creative life in application to characterization in the professional theatre;
- enhanced knowledge achieved via self-reflective and critical inquiry informed by further research while developing an objective understanding of the actor's personal journey and analysis of the written text.
