This subject provides the students with a fundamental understanding of the process of directing. The students will participate in all the steps of the directors process: the process of choosing a play; the development of a concept; casting; choice of the design, costumes, music and lighting in relation to a concept; work with the actors; creation of atmosphere and development of mise en scene; tempo-rhythm.

- strategies to develop creative decision making in the essentials of directing in professional practice;
- demonstrated and applied essential directing skills in practice;
- knowledge, understanding and practical experience of the director's preparation process.
