This subject provides the student with the fundamental skills of film writing. The student also considers writing for TV. This is a practical subject where the students creative product is developed through drafting and workshopping written material with the group. Students will also view films and analyse selected film scripts.
Learning Outcomes
- to develop skills necessary to format and present the film script to industry standards;
- to develop sufficient skills to write a short film;
- to widen understanding of film culture.
