Enrolment in this subject is restricted to all students enrolled in the Bachelor of Speech Pathology

This subject will provide the theoretical foundation and professional skill base necessary for competent practice in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment/management of acquired motor speech impairments of neurological origin (the dysarthrias and apraxia of speech) across the lifespan. Informal and formal methods of assessment, diagnosis and treatment/management will be described and demonstrated.
