Available to students who hold a degree in any health or allied health discipline. In 2003, preference will be given to those currently working in a rural or remote location in health services.

Understanding organisations can increase worker effectiveness and satisfaction. This postgraduate introduction to the theoretical underpinnings of work psychology will focus on applicable knowledge relevant to the particular challenges in the rural health context. Broad themes will address organisational and individual levels of analysis via issues including impact of context on organisational functioning, internal dynamics of task and personnel issues and factors in individual functioning.
