Available to Bachelor of Photography and Bachelor of Creative Arts students.

This subject extends students knowledge of the use of Adobe Photoshop. Students will also acquire knowledge of advanced film scanning techniques and the operation of SLR digital cameras; especially the management of digital files including archiving, transmission, storage, and output to external agencies. Examination of current digital imaging practice as applied in a variety of fields of photography.

    Assessment:quizzes or tests (25%); three practical assignments (75%) (75%).
    Special Assessment Requirements:In order to establish the authenticity of work submitted for assessment, attendance at practical classes is compulsory. Rolls are kept and work submitted by students with an attendance of less than 80% will not be eligible for assessment unless prior approval has been obtained in writing from the lecturer.
