The subject will explore contemporary issues affecting nurse education such as teaching in universities, the changing health environment, workforce requirements and other professional and social issues impacting on nursing.
Learning Outcomes
- discuss the impact of a changing health environment on nurse education;
- identify issues which affect nurse education;
- outline the professional and social issues which need to be considered in nurse education.
