The International business competes within a dynamic, strategic and global arena. The international business environment is changing rapidly. E-Business, e-Commerce, Services, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, HR, Politics, Legalities, Trade and the like, are now key ingredients for international success. This course considers the role of the business enterprise in international trade, investment policies, business strategies and its expansion within and across international arenas.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the broad history and foundations of international business;
- Discuss, analyse and apply international business theory and policy;
- Understand business from a global perspective and within the global marketplace;
- Develop an international business solution eg. a global business plan, a business web site, a business/e-Business strategy, or an business simulation game solution;
- Acquire insight(s) into the role of business enterprises in the expansion of business into the international environment.
