An introduction to traditional and contemporary philosophies of law and legal theory. The subject matter is divided into two modules traditional jurisprudence, including natural law and positivism, theories of law and justice; and contemporary critical theories, including critical legal studies, postmodernism, feminist legal theories and critical race theory.
